Balasaheb Thackeray was an Indian politician who founded the Shiv Sena, a Marathi political organisation. The party is primarily centred in Maharashtra. To pursue this ideology, he entered politics in 1966 and founded the Shiv Sena. The primary goal was to provide employment stability for Maharashtrians in the state. During the late 1960s and early 1970s, temporary coalitions were formed with practically all Maharashtrian political groups. He passed away on November 17, 2012, after suffering a cardiac arrest at the age of 86.Balasaheb Thackeray was born in Pune, Maharashtra. He was born into a Marathi Chandraseniya Kayastha Prabhu household.
His father, Keshav Thackeray, was a writer, social activist, and leader of the Samyukta Maharashtra Chalwal movement, which fought for a separate state for the Marathi-speaking populace in the 1950s.
